Onward · The 6 D's

The method

One question at the door. Five honest ways out. Two rules that let the dead things go. It runs on sticky notes or in this app — it only cares that you decide.
The gateDoes this need a decision from you?
No → Dismiss it. It was never yours.Yes → pick one of the five below, now — not “later.”
The five answers
DeployStart now, run it to Done, and own the outcome. Maximum five at once.In Onward: swipe right, or press D.
DelegateThe right hands, with real authority — and keep tracking. It's yours until it's Done.In Onward: swipe up, or press G, then pick a teammate.
DeferPark it with a date and a trigger. No date, no defer. In Onward: swipe down, or press F, then set when.
DeleteLet it go. It comes back if it mattered. In Onward: press Delete.
DismissAutopilot, or never yours. Let it pass, no guilt. In Onward: swipe left, or press X.
The caps — nothing sits foreverStall ×3 → Defer.  Defer ×3 → Delete.Things fail rightward. A task you keep dodging drifts toward deletion on its own, so you never have to summon the courage to kill it at 11 p.m. The rule already did.Worksheet 8: make these caps yours →

The Daily Sweep

Once a day, empty the inbox — every item gets a D. Five minutes. It is the heartbeat of the whole thing. In Onward: the Daily Sweep tab.

The Weekly Re-decide

Once a week, walk your Defers, honour the caps, and prune Deploy back to something sane.In Onward: the Board and the Log.
When you slipNever miss twice.Miss a day — fine. Just don't miss the next one. Coming back is a five-minute Sweep, not a reckoning.
“I'll deal with it later” is not a decision. Decide now.Decide fast. Keep the pile small. Let the dead things go. Onward.
